Zen And The Art Of Festival Catering

Taste Tibet Festival Tent

Let’s hit with the bad news first: our stall in Oxford’s Gloucester Green Market is now on hold for the summer. Our weekly Wednesday pitch will resume in September, and there will be prizes for those of you who revisit us then!! We will miss our regular customers, and look forward to seeing you all in a couple of months.

The good news? We may yet catch you at a festival or show here and there in between. Do subscribe to our newsletter to make sure you know where to find us between now and September. We will be taking our Tibetan tent to music festivals near and far, big and small, and we will also be courting the cameras at Blenheim Palace and Hampton Court, the respective venues for this year’s BBC Countryfile Live and Kirsty’s Handmade Fair.

It’s an upping of the ante by some zillion per cent for us, so wish us luck while we attempt to resolve the last, but by no means small logistical challenges that are keeping us busy day and night before we’ve even picked up our sleeping bags.

Now that I know how to source scaffolding material, design an apron, and recruit a team of foodies to staff the Taste Tibet stall, I personally feel like I could ace the next season of the The Apprentice.

Our regular blog is also taking a pause for the next while, but expect pictures and news every now and again while we pop in to remind you that we’re still busy working, even though you can’t get your momos of an Oxford lunchtime.

Thank you for bearing with us! See you soon!
