We know that many of you miss our crispy bottoms. Back when we were a market stall set-up this was the only way we could offer our momos in the quantities that they’d shift. We’d steam them the day before in our prep kitchen and then fry them up on giant paella pans in a little olive oil.
We’re slicker than that now: having a roof over our heads means that we can serve momos straight out of the steamer. And what’s not to love? This way they burst with all their natural juices – they are fresh and light and incredibly succulent.
And you can take them home and fry them up for yourselves if that’s how you like them. We stock them steamed and then chilled in our freezers for you to do just that. (Pair them with some of Yeshi’s chilli oil on the side and call that a weekday win).
But if you’re pining for the theatre of our big pans you will surely want to come to this Saturday’s Momo Party. We will be open all day on Saturday 25th September. We’re planning an end of summer blow out: momos (steamed or fried), Buddha beer – and of course all the curries. This week Yeshi and I celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary, and since we’ll be open for business and serving you, so we celebrate with you!
Doors open at 12pm on the day and close at 9.30pm. Our paella pans will be out the side of Taste Tibet for you to chat to our chefs and watch how it’s all done. Bring your friends, eat momos and all will be well.

Wednesday: 5-9pm (dinner only)
Thursday & Friday: 12-3pm (lunch) / 5-9.30pm (dinner)
Saturday: Momo Party! 12-9.30pm for regular lunch and dinner + all the momos.
A note about table bookings – we don’t currently take them. Our tables turn around pretty fast and while the weather holds (at least) everyone always finds a spot.
